How to Measure Your Finger for a Ring Size

Not sure about your ring size? Follow these simple steps to measure your finger size accurately:

  1. Download the Ring Sizing Template: Click here to download the template.
  2. Print the Template: Ensure your printer settings are set to "Actual Size" to avoid any scaling issues.
  3. Cut Out the Ring Sizer: Carefully cut out the paper ring sizer along the lines.
  4. Wrap it Around Your Finger: Wrap the paper sizer around the base of your finger, ensuring it's snug but not too tight.
  5. Find Your Size: Note the number where the sizer overlaps. This number is your ring size!

Alternatively, if you don’t have a printer, you can measure with a string:

  • Cut a string about 6 inches long.
  • Wrap the string around the base of your finger, just below the knuckle.
  • Mark the point where the string overlaps with a pen.
  • Measure the length of the string with a ruler to find the circumference in millimeters.
  • Use our conversion chart above to determine your ring size.

Tips for Measuring Your Ring Size Accurately

  • Measure at the End of the Day: Fingers tend to be smaller in the morning and larger in the evening.
  • Avoid Measuring Cold Fingers: When your fingers are cold, they can shrink up to half a size smaller.
  • Consider the Width of the Band: Wider bands fit tighter than narrower ones. If you are purchasing a wide band, consider ordering a half size up.
